How can i learn more fluent spanish? I’ve been trying for years?

i have taught myself all the spanish i know, i have been trying to learn it for at least 3 years maybe longer..

i listen to spanish music, i have TONS of spanish phrase books/dictionaries/CD’s/lyrics i even bought a spanish novel and DVD to try and help

how can i get fluent and understand/speak it?

it’s not from a lack of trying lol :)

Thanks for any help
i live in northeast england – there are NO spanish speakers here.

Its difficult when there are no native speakers around, however , the movies with subtitles will always work to train your hearing and also you can get to repeat some phrases.
Find some mexican movies (matando cabos, amores perros, por la libre, kilometro 31, conejo en la luna, nicotina) . those are the modern interesting ones…
and watch them with spanish subtitles.
I say mexican films because the spanish from Spain or Argentina have a stronger stress and pronunciation so it could be confusing.
And as for the speaking, get on skype and talk with some spanish speakers. Tell me if u need some help,
